  18.    THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE! USE ON YOUR OWN RISK!

  20.    Triton is a standard Amiga shared runtime library.  Triton makes it
  21. much easier to create good looking graphical user interfaces (GUIs) than
  22. GadTools, BOOPSI or other systems.
  23.  
  24.    The most important features are:
  25.  
  26.    * Object oriented system
  27.    * Automatically font sensitive, font adaptive
  28.    * Automatic keyboard shortcuts for default window actions
  29.    * *Really* easy to use
  30.    * Beautiful customizable AmigaOS3.x look
  31.    * Comes as a freely distributable shared library
  32.    * Size! Though Triton is very powerful, it is a shared library of
  33.      only about 50KB. You don't need any startup tools, BOOPSI classes
  34.      or other things. It's the Triton among the minnows of GUI creation
  35.      systems ;)
  36.    * Resizability of windows wherever applicable
  37.    * A Preferences editor which allows you to customize the look and
  38.      feel of all Triton GUIs
  39.    * No installation required. Simply putting triton.library into the
  40.      current directory is enough for a minimum installation.

  42.    By using Triton you don't have to worry about otherwise very
  43. time-consuming things like font-sensitivity and resizability of your
  44. windows.
  45.  
  46.    This user archive is needed by users and developers alike. A separate
  47. archive named 'tri20b1dev.lha' is required by developers only.
